ConditionMap
Evidence on US health conditions, long-term and sudden, common and rare. Every figure shows its source and its date. For patients, families, and the people who plan care.
How to read a figure
Every figure shows a source, a date, and one label.
- Source: where the number comes from. Each source is listed in the source registry.
- Date: the year or release the figure describes.
- VERIFIED: from a primary US federal source such as CDC, NCHS, NIH, AHRQ, or CMS.
- REPORTED: from a credible non-federal source such as a registry, society, or peer-reviewed study.
- MODELED: derived or estimated, including all state and county PLACES values.
- PROJECTED: a stated forecast.
- INSUFFICIENT_DATA: no source-backed value exists.
Do not compare figures across conditions. Measures, denominators, and years differ.
